Tandoori Clay Ovens

Clay Tandoor

Outdoor Cooking – If you are inviting a large number of people in your party and if you enjoy outdoor cooking better, clay oven tandoor is the best option for you. Clay ovens are three to four feet long clay pots, in which the chicken is cooked with the help of skewers. You can put five to six, long skewers in it at one time so it is best for cooking for extended time. It is not suitable for indoor cooking as burning coals are used to heat the tandoor. Hence you can use this tandoor for outdoor purpose only. This type of oven gives best cooking results in comparison to any other types. You can bake naan or flat bread on the inner layer while you still have skewers with chicken in it.

Indoor Cooking – For indoor cooking you have got two options. One is electronic tandoor oven and other is gas oven tandoor. Both of these ovens are compact and easy to store. Both are for multipurpose uses and are easy to use and safe for indoor cooking. But there is a difference. The electric tandoor runs on electricity. It has selves and skewers. You can use skewers for chicken tandoori or use a tray. The gas tandoor oven is used on gas stove. It too has compartments for multipurpose cooking. Both are smaller in comparison to traditional one and are meant for family of five or six.
